Scalia is super interesting because she is a study in different "upbringing". She was raised into undeath as an act of kindness and given free will, in comparison to Sylvanas who was raised as a punishment, kept as a slave and had to break free.

Calia? Interesting? Lol. She's like the most boring and forced character in wow's story. She is "perfect", she doesn't have any single flaw. She's just an undead version of Anduin. And she wasn't there when the ppl of Lordaeron needed her the most. As a forsaken fan I hate her

Calia got chewed out by Anduin for nearly causing a war with her antics with the whole Forsaken gathering. She died because of it as did countless members of the Desolate Council. She also never got taught how to properly lead her Kingdom. She's by no means perfect.

But the narrative and the writers portray her as such. She was *always* right in BtS, nobody questioned her. And the biggest issue is that the entire Forsaken lore since Cataclysm was retconned just to make her look good. She can't die son enough

Explain how the Forsaken's Lore was retconned? Also, I would hope she would be portrayed as "right" for wanting what is best for the Forsaken. She has some level of selfishness sure but most of her arc is trying to help her people.

Ughhh, have you ever played as a forsaken character in Silverpine? Because I actually think you have no idea of Sylvanas or Forsaken lore :/

Believe me, I have played through Silverpine Forest. It was one of my favorite questlines in the game during the Cataclysm revamp.

Then you should know that Sylvanas NEVER wanted them to forget that Lordaeron was their true home. She literally has a monologue about it. Silverpine is all about the Forsaken being ppl from Lordaeron, but for some reason in BTS Sylvanas wants it to be just "Undercity"

It goes right out the window with the start of Battle for Azeroth where she uses their very home as a means to "end" the Alliance only for it to backfire. Sylvanas is a very hard character to figure out but as it stands right now she doesn't care about the Forsaken anymore.

Of course she doesn't. Because Blizzard retconned that in BtS. Why do you think that book was so hated in the forums, twitter and Reddit? Because it didn't only ruin Sylvanas character , it also ruined the Forsaken identity. Anyway, if you still enjoy the story, good for you

Wouldn't be the first time the community and I came to a disagreement. I thought the book as well and fine and did its job of showing us the struggles of the Forsaken lifestyle.
