I've been critical of the ending of BFA, but it really sucks to see the cinematic gain so much hate to the point that it has to be Unlisted from the YouTube channel. I have nothing but respect for Terran Gregory and the cinematic team, so to see their work lambasted is upsetting.

I think the worst part about the ending is that it doesn't exactly conclude much about the expansion, since in the end, there's still that giant sword stuck inside Azeroth. All we've done is defeat N'zoth, and helped heal the planet... but we haven't solved the root problem.

Agreed. The problem of BFA began with the sword. The problem of N'Zoth has been ongoing for years before this. It's presenting the solution to one problem as the conclusion to the narrative, without actually solving what triggered that narrative's problem in the first place.

Let's be honest, the only ways that swords going away is if either sargeras comes to reclaim it, eonar finally is revealed as bad and takes it, we shrink ray it, or we tie a rope to it and the exodar and yank. Pulling the sword would probably create another well of eternity.

There's always the chance Azeroth herself will take it out. I think it would be poetic if the planet itself finally rises up to save herself - even if only for a brief moment.
