BfA had no ending. N'zoth gets exploded and nothing happens. The horde/alliance epilogues aren't even connected to it.

Wasn't exactly an epilogue either with WoD it kind of just ends right there. Again both endings are trash but WoD's at least was longer so that's all it has going for it. BfA's is mostly with cutscenes than cinematics.

WoD didn't need an epilogue, the ending cinematic directly set up the next expansion.

Yeah despite how trashy WoDs ending gets, it at least hits the right beats for an ending. Bad guy falls, the heroes celebrate and look towards a better future, but uh oh questions linger and the informed characters can't rest just yet! Tune in next expansion!

BFA just has Nzoth pop and it spits you back to the jarringly silent awkwardness of gameplay. Even Cata had its little montage of the world celebrating Deathwings defeat, where the characters were going, how the world would change because of the expac etc

Even weirder the commentary from some characters afterward are from those not involved. Like why are Turalyon and Alleria, who haven't been involved with N'zoth whatsoever in reality, talking about the post-credits. I don't care what they're doing at this time lol

Alleria is probably the perfect person for them to use in terms of, "What is going on with the Void/Old Gods at this time?" Which seems to hint we're obviously not done with the Void yet.

There's no extra post-kill moments with any of characters actually involved. Magni, MOTHER & especially Wrathion, who shows back up and is instrumental in helping us stop him and then N'zoth dies and he's seemingly nowhere to be found again. No anduin/wrathion epilogue, nothing.

Again both Warlords of Draenor & Battle for Azeroth were severely lacking on epilogues. But at the very least with BfA they focus on some loose ends. But the biggest issue being N'zoth is hardly addressed at all - unless you kept your eye but that's not even enough either.

The most offensive "there is no loose ends tied up" is the fact that Magni tries to claim that Azeroth is saved after N'zoth dies. Its like Blizzard forgot Azeroth was dying because of SARGERAS' GIGANTIC SWORD stuck into her.

Yep that's another, "Wait there's still this issue." Battle for Azeroth really needed more endings and more time and that would've made things work for me but nope. I still liked what we got (prior to this ending) but 8.3's conclusion really did harm to this expansion.
