I'd say WoD had more cut out than Battle for Azeroth ever did but I agree something is missing here.
I don't think the ending of the raid makes Battle for Azeroth a worse expansion, however, this has made it harder for me to put it above Legion now. I've talked with my friend Box about this but the ending matters a lot. I still liked BfA a lot but this is just a big yikes.

It didn't even end badly, it just... stopped. Which is almost worse than a bad ending if you ask me.
