Such a shame what happened in Wrath. We eventually got the underground zone with a friendly faction experience in Cata, but the art suffered. Nerubians are so cool and losing that content was such a huge loss for us ;-;
One thing that I really like about the Nerubians is that they chose to no longer worship the Old Gods. Showing that the Old Gods really don't have a proper hold or control on even their own creations. I really hope we see a friendly faction of Nerubians later down the line.pic.twitter.com/Rs2JOqHptP

I think it is because they appeared from Azeroth due to the old gods' influence but they weren't "created" by them also I've always thought that the curse of flesh is what gave mortals the willpower to resist the old gods' influence so the aqir should have it as well

Uhh are we sure they don't worship the old gods? I thought there was a split, one faction for Lich King, the original for the old gods.

In Wrath, the "friendly" faction was the old god aligned faction who hated the lich king, so they helped us. Right?
