Not to mention that Lordaeron appareantly had quite harsh Winter seasons as well. Harsh enough to nearly kill Arthas.
The Sin'dorei are also people of knowledge they would most certainly know the basics of the seasons and that globally the world is different.

Not to mention that despite maintaining a single climate in one location, that does not immunize it to the passage of time the same as all the worlds. If I go through a winter that experiences nothing but sunny days, I don't then say that place had two summers.

I think it's interesting as a topic to rather go into the meat of it all. Obviously, the Sin'dorei celebrate Winter Veil but more... how do they celebrate it? What's different about it from say the Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Pandaren, etc.
