I think there have been decent highs and incredibly low lows, but I don't think it'll ever touch MoP's level of greatness.

MoP is pretty high up there for me. Battle for Azeroth hasn't reached it and I don't think it will, HOWEVER, I've enjoyed a lot of it and do put it as my Number 3 currently for a lot of reasons. BfA is nowhere close to perfect but it's been a fun ride for me.

Even ignoring my major, major problems with the story, the fact that Azerite Armor launched basically unfinished and then they also tacked on an endless grind, really puts it at the bottom of my list. At least WoD had fun leveling, BfA I didn't have much fun at any point.

Gameplay really hasn't been something I've cared about in a while for WoW least not since early Cataclysm so I never really bothered or cared about the whole Azerite system. If we were strictly talking gameplay BfA was lacking in that.

I mean its a game first and foremost, even Blizzard says that they put the gameplay before the story. And the gameplay in BfA is baaaaaad.

I just don't play WoW for its gameplay. Legion had some fun gameplay but I really did not like parts of its story at times which is why I have BfA over it in that regard.

...you don't play the game for the gameplay? Then why do you play it at all instead of just watch cutscenes online?
