Now that the Blizzcon Hype has mostly escaped me and I am watching more videos and news on Shadowlands I still remain very skeptical of this expansion. Definitely, this is a first for me as I'm usually pumped and hyped for anything new. (1/3)
Don't get me wrong the gameplay additions and the customization updates coming to the new races are great. But if you know me I am a story guy. Yeah, we don't know too much on the story but my biggest fear is pulling another WoD & ignoring Azeroth entirely. (2/3)
Still going to give Shadowlands a chance and who knows? Maybe I'll fall in love with it in 2020. For now, though I'm very uncertain where the story will be going. But I'll continue to hope for it be good. (3/3)
I gotta look around, but I'm pretty sure what is happening to Azeroth... Without the Helm the Scourge are running rampant uncontrolled all over the place. Which partly explains why new toons start on an island called Exiles' Reach. Implies Azeroth is... fucked right now?
