Maybe a subtle hint? They surely haven't teased us with Wrathion just to drop the Plotline in 9.0 onward? Next Expac has yet to have a sideplot/B-Plot.
8.2.5 was where the interaction and comparison was made. 8.3 sort of works more on that with Wrathion help defending Azeroth against the Old God threat. I found it interesting Wrathion and Medivh interacted and found similarities.
