I feel like people misinterpret me on my displeasure or disappointment with the Shadowlands Cinematics. I definitely understand why and how Sylvanas beat Bolvar. The only issue I took was they presented Bolvar looking weaker than he should. (1/2)
Maybe have Sylvanas get more scarred up or show her lose a shoulderpad or something. Have her hood get blown off during that blizzard. Saurfang left his mark on Sylvanas. I think Bolvar should've too is all. I just wanted to see Bolvar kick some ass after waiting 9 years. (2/2)
But I also think we will get to see Bolvar kick some ass as they did say he's a pivotal character for this Expansion. But just with this cinematic wish we got more of those cool moments of just Bolvar being a Lich King.
My issue with it is that when it was over I felt strangely empty. It seemed incomplete. She arrived, they fought, she won, she opened the sky. But the story felt only half told. Maybe if we had seen her kill all the scourge that were protecting Bolvar.
