I don't like him at all, in some ways I find him more obnoxious than Sylvanas (Who is the character I despise the most) but just because I don't like a character doesn't mean I think they should just randomly be thrown away in an unrelated scenario.
That's fair. Though there are rumors of something similar happening to Gallywix for the goblins.

I think Gallywix is fine because he both isn't as big a character and they've also built him up to die by his own people since literally the first introduction of him.
