8.3 confirmed! Was there ever any doubt?

Actually yeah I kinda doubted we would get an 8.3 since blizzcon is so close and they seemed liked they just wanna call it quits on BFA and move on but I'm glad they are coming out with more for BFA and hopefully it's worth it , I imagine we will see 8.3 go live before blizzcon
I don't know if 8.3 will be out before Blizzcon but we've had a patch come out & be announced at Blizzcon around the same time as an expansion announcement. Best example was during both WotLK and Cata where they talked about fighting DW & the LK and then talked about MoP & Cata.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks they will put so much on the ptr we will see what's gonna happen or have some idea about it and they drop enough hints about next expansion and at blizzcon they gloss over it and but focus on next expansion features
