Yes! I've used Google Docs because it has it. Couldn't really use it for my thesis though.. but I realized Word has it now with OneDrive. Absolute lifesaver!

But in all honesty thats go to be so frustrating. I would step away for a while to calm down jot some note down on what was there. And once you feel up to it dive back in if you can't restore.
