Speculation: So Wrathion has been a whelp since Cataclysm. (Year 1) MoP (Year 2) WoD (Year 3) Legion (Year 4) BfA (Year 5) In Blackrock, we saved a blue whelp Awbee & is a dragon now. Well. He wouldn't be 5. From MoP to Legion were like 5 years? Anduin was 15 and now he's in his 19/20. So Wrathion would be around 5/7. Not too much of a difference i guess.
