I'm always in a tough spot with WoW leaks cuz I like speculation about future expansions but I hate spoilers, and leaks (especially close to Blizzcon) straddle the line. If I read one that turns out to be true, it's a spoiler, but if it's not and I don't, I miss speculation.
My whole channel and aspiration is to make speculations on WoW so when these leaks come out it is frustrating for someone like me who makes theories and ideas on what's next competing against people who're saying what is next.
Yeah. I kinda like T&E's position on leaks; they don't cover them... I can't remember the exact reasons that were given, but it was something along the lines of "if they're fake we've wasted your time and if they're real it makes the reveal less exciting".
I loove speculation. I've speculated a lot in the past. But I don't get leak culture; BfA was... as much as I dislike the faction war, the reveal cinematic was hype, and most of the info was hype, because no one had leaked it. All these leaks, I like some ideas but..
