But why? What would they get from him? Is he that powerful?
In both Legendary Questchains Wrathion was: 1. Able to fend off a fully grown Black Dragon. 2. Survive a raid from the Red Dragonflight. 3. Be a difficult opponent for us in MoP when blindfolded. Wrathion might be a whelp but he is a very terrifying and powerful whelp.

Darn, then I guess I really missed those parts. It is scary thinking he might end up like Deathwing if he looses his mind with all that power... A being almost imposible to defeat by normal means

I've high hopes for Wrathion - he just needs the right teachers and I think there are plenty out there who're willing to help him. Hell, I'd love a Deathwing's ghost on helping Wrathion out. Deathwing got done dirty anyhow.
