Deathwing wasn’t even Wrathions’ father. He’s Ebonhorns’ old man so by that logic shouldn’t Ebonhorn be the new Black Prince and not the edgy teenager?
Ebonhorn hasn't really shown much interest with his flight before BfA and was more concerned with the Highmountain Tauren. And back in the days of Wrathion's rise to power, he was under the belief he alone was the last surviving Black Dragon so he took that title.

He knows now though, right? I’m aware of future story lines that have the two interacting. And true. Out of thanks and respect to Highmountain Ebonhorn stayed there and cared for those who became his people and family. Which I love.
