Patches like 8.2 with ugly tier sets are usually the reason people argue against transmog. Because it allows the current team to coast on people using previous better design sets. Not saying I agree with them. But that's their argument.
Isn't that a reason -for- transmog? That just makes no sense to me. If there is a set that people or a person doesn't like they deserve the right to transmog over it. I remember when I was forced to wear an armor I didn't like and wanted to wear something else.

It's, in my opinion, just the people who want a reason to rag on the art team. Which I'll never understand because the art team carries WoW so hard especially in garbage heap expacs like BfA. So when you get a tier that is universally regarded as meh or worse they'll go "See!"
