Y’know, if they didn’t kill of Zul’jin in BC, I’d like to think they could feasibly put him in charge of the Horde trolls. Even if they’re not his tribe.
Kind of wish Zul'jin wasn't killed. Man was a badass who just wanted to retake the lands of his ancestors. Gul'dan really fucked us up with that alliance. TBC just proving once again it killed off too many characters who could've been great down the line.
Kargath, Vashj, Illidan... Kael’thas is the biggest waste from TBC for me. Lor’themar’s great, but Kael’thas’s potential as an interesting leader is far higher. It’s not like Garrosh, where he still made a great villain. Kael’thas just felt hamfisted as anything but a leader.
People usually ask me why TBC isn't very high on my favorite expansion list and this is the largest factor as to why. I was a big fan of Illidan, Vashj, Zul'jin, Gruul and Kael'thas and they did them away with them like scrap. Was happy about Illidan in Legion at least.
