I just think it makes sense since the Darkspears are also associated with Durotar. As much as I disliked and would love a better form of orc armor that we got from Arathi I would be down for some new troll-looking armor. Alternatively, they could do Tauren if they wanted.

Sadly I dont like this but you are right probably. We have several troll themes already but very few Elf themed (yes I am going there but seriously, what is there, Sunwell is about it? When can we get more of elf craftmanship ect?)

Elf Themed armor in Durotar would not work that well at all. I think it is wiser to wait for when the story takes place in the top of the Eastern Kingdoms. Besides, elves have plenty of rather recent elven looking armor from 7.1 and 8.2.
