Yeah it makes no sense if they went this route. Maybe in like 2 expansions IF they really ramp up his role and Rokhan somehow dies. Unfortunately Rokhan doesn't seem to be doing anything interesting or important & is just towing the line for Sylvanas and the Horde's warmongering

Rokhan gives Thrall a totem to help the Honorable Horde sneak around in the Underhold. He's not doing much but he is helping out at least and clearly doesn't want Baine to die.

Yeah but considering Vol'jin's plot seems to have been dropped, Rokhan not doing anything but giving Thrall a totem seemed weak. He doesn't need to be center stage but he should have helped himself in the freeing of Baine, would be a nice call back to the Stormwind scenario.
