He actually might be younger than that but it was stated he was 4 in Dragon years during Mists of Pandaria in 5.2. Anduin was around 15 during Mists of Pandaria so using math skills Wrathion is about 7 years old during Battle for Azeroth at least in human years.

And why are you assuming that 1 dragon year = 1 human year? Especially when he was experimented on with a bunch of crazy tech that Dave Kosak flatout says accelerated his growth so that he had sentience in his egg?

It's still a tad uncomfortable to discuss. Especially when he still assumes the form of a dragon whelp all the way into Warlords of Draenor. If they state he's older and an adult than that's cool but right now we've so little to work with.

Why does the discussion about this from people who are opposed to it immediately jump to the lewd part of it as if people are saying let's see Anduin and Wrathion have sex on screen?

Because when Wrathion got his new human model they immediately talk about how sexy or how hot he is.

...also the fetishization of Sylvanas has been a thing since forever. I'm just saying there's definitely a connection between the implication of a gay romance and immediate rush to the sex aspect which is absent in other, far more blatant, examples of sexualization of characters

I wasn't even talking about the whole Wrathion and Anduin thing. I was just talking about Wrathion's new model in general and poking fun at his age.
