Far as we know he didn't but at the same time, it was collided with the report that Sylvanas died in battle and was re-raised. Might've been conflicting to speak about it at the time.

And it wasn't brought up later on. Even as Garry decided using Old God juice was a good idea... At least the Blight doesn't make you and your followers literally insane.

...Sylvanas is literally using an Old God dagger as compass too and a means to win the war. She's quite literally used everything Garrosh used and Arthas now.

Xal'ath is free, dagger is but a tool now. And she wouldn't have taken such measures had Baine not foiled the original plan.

An Old God Dagger is still an Old God Dagger. Sylvanas is fully willing to use the powers of the void, blight, and death to achieve victory and that's why she's gotta go. She's too dangerous.
