It also feels weird that in the Battle for Azeroth it has less deaths than the Legion did despite being a huge war. Whenever I do plan to give my thoughts on BfA the topic of characters dying is going to be one of them.

I've discovered an issue with BfA & it's that when you compare it to Legion the tension doesn't feel as high despite the fact that the literal planet is dying. But with Legion it did a good job of feeling like the entire world is being invaded.

I srs loved the pre-launch invasions where demons were invading around Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms. It felt like a real threat and gave more of a sense of urgency. And now? The planet is dying but no one seems to care?

Legion's pre-launch event was among it's best and while I actually liked the invasion of Darkshore it fell flat. And yeah that's another issue is that the B Plot for BfA is healing the planet while the main plot was the faction war.

I like BFA but that's been one of my gripes with it. Up until Azshara the end bosses haven't felt threatening. Legion did a GREAT job on end bosses and making the tension feel high. AU Gul'dan is one of my favorite fights for that reason

I'm not gonna give Legion too much praise on how they treated its bosses considering what they did to K'J in my eyes wasn't done the best. His regret and relationship with Velen? Great! But he deserved better treatment outside the Raid. Antorus is filled with too many newbies.

Bfa is trying to fit two to three different story types making them look like the main story focus but so far is kind of a mess, legion for the most and all of the way had a certain focus above another side story we went through ( even suramar)

And i've been giving BfA a lot of praise in the cesspool of negativity that it's been given to it but even I can agree it has plenty of room for improvement and its feelings on the scope of war and a planet dying is really needing some of it.

I disagree, Legion had the exact same problem where you only felt like the broken isles are being invaded not the world itself besides the pre patch there wasnt really anything in the rest of the world.

well the pre-patch explained that we pushed them back and then we fought them in the isles and argus till the end.

I think this specific problem can be applied to the Eternal Palace cinematic as well. N'Zoth is free, this is BIG, yet it just feels... eh. Compare it to the ToS cinematic. This didn't feel big because all the characters don't even acknowledge it and there's no immediate impact.
