Him not liking her was established across multiple cinematics though. Its obviously he's just using her to break free, which he actually does.
Considering Azshara is still a powerful character it wouldn't be unwise to keep such a minion around in case he needs more time to do something. Hard to say right now but I suppose we shall see in 8.3.

Well, their goal was to rebuild the Black Empire we learned that from Nazjatar. And since he's been doing this for well over 10K years he likely wants reassurances. I'm kind of surprised that you're not happy Azshara is still sticking around.
