I LOVE the Goblins/gilblins. They would make a fantastic allied race and make a lot more sense as far as being part of the Horde (IMO). At this point I think it's super unlikely since their models aren't updated past the Cata ones, but I love them all the same.

I think its very possible with the goblin models being updated in 8.2.5 we could see Gilgoblins receive the same. Much like how the Nightborne Models aren't entirely in-line with their Legion ones. That being said right now its a lot easier to do the Vulpera.

I like the Gilgoblins more but they are one of the best examples of why addong more customization options instead of allied races would make more sense, since there isnt much of a difference in models.

I'm a bit for both. I like the introduction and lore with the allied races and getting to get their heritage armors but I also would prefer for some of them to be a cusotmization feature. Especially for the Mag'har and the Lightforged Draenei.
