I donno how well this will be received but its a subjective annoyance to me: As somebody who RPed on WoW for almost 8 years (Stopped ~MoP), seeing people act as "official" RPers of lore characters always rubs me the wrong way. You don't get to claim to be Jaina Proudmore, sorry
I find I can get away a lot more with the character I've been rping for literally 10 years. Ban'orak is a face of my channel so I basically get to do as I will with him if people -REALLY- wanna interact with him. But I'm usually just me on my twitter.

I mean I took aspects of characters I enjoyed in Warcraft like, Rexxar (Mok'nathal and Beastmaster), Saurfang (A veteran who's regretful over his past actions), Thrall (Hair and views on the Horde and peace.) But ultimately I still had my own character by the end of it all.
