What ticks me off is how Thrall was treated in Legion. That whole notion of, "I think the prophecy of the Doomhammer was about you & not Thrall, Champion!" I don't jive well with the heroes doing that to Lore Characters. I hope Thrall gets the Doomhammer back, honestly.pic.twitter.com/pMRB7Ge9N6
That isn't to say I didn't like the arc of him inability to use the elements or wield the Doomhammer. To a degree, I actually like that since it allows Thrall to be more at risk and more, well, Thrall again and not "Green Jesus" as the community likes to call him.
Agreed. I've never liked the "Heroes/Champions are part of the lore too!". I was just fine with being a nobody soldier or adventurer.
I think the best way they did this was in Pandaria where we were just the elites sent to Pandaria to understand what's going on. Honestly, kudos to BfA to reverting us back from "Leaders of our Class" or "Commanders" fuck that noise.
I'm with you. I detest what they did to thrall. Idc if some people were tired of him, he deserved a better hiatus than what he got. Also gonna add I hate how malfurion and tyrande were handled. Seems like a step back from wc3, ya know the thing that happened over a decade ago

He's like noooooo I killed Garry and now the elements stopped talking to me?!
I will forever find it odd that he still mourns Garrosh but was unnecessarily written cold-hearted and "I don't care" towards Jaina after Cataclysm, despite knowing her better and longer, despite owing her his life (twice). He at least should blame himself for both tragedies.
