~ can't be because it's justified. She was pushed to this by the horde so they can't be victims to the wrath that comes. The shock value is biting them in the butt with how to come back from it. From a story perspective I am worried this is a point of no return for the franchise.

Well, it comes down to does King Anduin allow Tyrande to continue to keep killing Horde when the Horde themselves don't want to war anymore? Zelling was the best means of showing what happens if you now disobey Sylvanas. Lots of the Horde will rile up now. (1/2)

I think that ultimately those that take the war to the extreme should be punished. Tyrande is justified now, however, I have the feeling they will have her do something that is too far even for Teldrassil's burning.

//Well that's the thing Anduin literally cannot tell her to or not to. The NEs owe a lot to the humans for the harboring but shes on a mandate from the Elune now, and has the Army of Black Moon as well as the Sentinel army that was absent from WoT. Its arguable she has the ~

~largest and strongest fighting force on Azeroth at her disposal and focused on one thing. I hear the argument of going too far but I can't think of what would be too far? She can burn Orgrimmar to the ground and still be considered in the right. I'm not being snarky on that ~

~regard its a genuine problem with the story. I mean lots of little things but what can we do. Utilize the Black Moon to bring down N'zoth? Do we get to like have Malfurion rip down the walls of Org and kill Sylvanas. Then the forsaken players are suffering even moreso.

I think it more comes down to the Alliance argument, like with Jaina, "Don't sink to their level." when Theramore was bombed Jaina had every right to attack the Horde but she went against it because it would cost the lives of innocents. (1/2)

And even back then Horde Leaders and characters weren't okay with the Bombing of Theramore just like now with the Burning of Teldrassil. What it comes down to is, does Tyrande blame the Horde that burned Teldrassil or the Horde trying to make up for their sins. (2/2)

It gets harder and harder to justify "don't sink to their level" when the incompetence of our leaders results in so many innocent deaths. They can stop their side from committing genocide, why can't we ever?

Back in the days of Thrall as Warchief he was far more strict about warring with the Alliance unless it was necessary. But whence Sylvanas and Garrosh came along they relished any chance to war with the Alliance and encourage the races to do the same.

I think it is less about, "Why aren't the Leaders doing their jobs!" and it's more about "Tell them not to listen to the Warchief and make a stand." We had the Darkspears do this especially, but even the Tauren were hesitant to speak out at Garrosh.
