I think that's what they were kind of going for. I personally like the route story has been going but that's mostly because it's what I wanted after Legion. After BfA I want negotiations like in Wrath to start again between Anduin, Thrall, Velen, and Baine, etc.

Meanwhile, characters like Tyrande can be the one to cause issues for Horde players as she's not going to light up on them for what they did to Teldrassil and her people. It'd be a good change of pace for the Alliance.

//well I mean I can see that but I just still cant accept the WoT for the starter. With how extreme they went as an Alliance player I can't accept negotiations even after Sylvanas is dead it's just too much. And that is the problem with Tyrande being the instigator she just ~

~ can't be because it's justified. She was pushed to this by the horde so they can't be victims to the wrath that comes. The shock value is biting them in the butt with how to come back from it. From a story perspective I am worried this is a point of no return for the franchise.

Well, it comes down to does King Anduin allow Tyrande to continue to keep killing Horde when the Horde themselves don't want to war anymore? Zelling was the best means of showing what happens if you now disobey Sylvanas. Lots of the Horde will rile up now. (1/2)

I think that ultimately those that take the war to the extreme should be punished. Tyrande is justified now, however, I have the feeling they will have her do something that is too far even for Teldrassil's burning.

~largest and strongest fighting force on Azeroth at her disposal and focused on one thing. I hear the argument of going too far but I can't think of what would be too far? She can burn Orgrimmar to the ground and still be considered in the right. I'm not being snarky on that ~
