They'd have to figure out a new way to make new Forsaken though which might be too much of a hassle.

Do they? Let's be honest its an artificial problem that gets used to explain OTHER storylines but never actually matters. There's never a lack of Forsaken characters. It's a fake issue we're supposed to care about. In fact being endangered could be a cool story for them.

They -do not- kill Forsaken. Not forsaken civilians (vs every NE on Teldrassil dying basically) nor their character (belmont freeing himself from Tyrande's Moonfire prison, the only forsaken char to die was Zelling a patch after we met him)

Except the 1 in Before the Storm. But yeah. I agree.

Also, reflecting again on that idea of "shortage of characters" being an illusion to players: I think the only rage that actually is true for is Gnomes? Even Darkspear trolls have characters besides Vol'jin: Rohkan, Gadrin, Zen'tabra, Vanira... minor characters but only because

of writer neglect. Tauren dont have that issue either: it's an illusion caused by them never representing taurencharacters. They have Hamuul, Aponi, Dezco, Perith, Stormsong, and Magatha (who, thinking on it, those last 2 would fit this Forsaken centered horde storyline so well!)

Draenei are pretty close too. They really only have Velen. Maraad was killed off.

Velen, Nobundo, and Akama are all I can really think of yeah. Romuul isn't really much of a character.

It's funny. Belves actually have 4 very different leaders, with great personalities. I think, in terms of who I think makes the world more interest, Rommath adds a nice reminder to belves being arrogant to a fault and originally being super isolationist.

Rommath is the Arrogant Isolationist Liadrin is the Arrogant Zealot Lor'themar is the Middle Ground Dealmaker Aethas is the Opportunistic Magister. All of them are super cool and why Blood Elves rank so high for me as a favorite race.

I liked Blood Elves a lot more in Warcraft 3 but I will admit Isle of Thunder made me like them a lot more in WoW.
