The idea is to replicate the maps to look more like they do in WoW in more of a world view. So rather than the whole map looking basically the same it'll look far more detailed I'd imagine. Think of how Durotar, Barrens, Orgrimmar, Duskwallow Marsh will look.

Reforged will probably make things far more unique and developed than Warcraft 3 did. Like, I believe, Baine will look different than just a mini Cairne or Vol'jin won't just be a Troll Witch Doctor but his own model.
