Honestly, I would rate Cataclysm higher if it wasn't for the poor end game and the way they treated the Deathwing in Dragon Soul. The main antagonist, changed world, new music, new graphics, flying in Azeroth, and new class combinations were really welcomed.
I understand people have a great love for Classic and TBC but Cataclysm really took away a lot of the bad from those expansions and made them into some good. That's why I like Cataclysm more. Friendly reminder it was Cataclysm who gave us transmog too.
Cata is honestly one of my favorite expansions. It had it's flaws, sure, but the storytelling was on point and a lot of the revamped zones have quests I absolutely love.
It's not my favorite but I definitely like it more than WoD and TBC. It's right in the middle.
I hope that some zones can be repaired after all this time. Loch modan needs a Loch in it!

The loading screens have the power to hit your face with nostalgia and the music follows shortly after.

That would be awesome... maybe a good overhaul to DS to give a proper ending instead of just “poof” and turning all attention to Thrall and aggra w/e
I would've kept the fireworks, dragon aspects losing their powers, and Thrall's baby announcement. But it would've been nice to give Deathwing either his final moments with the Dragon Aspects or a redemption.
