Unpopular Opinion: I'd be more on board with playing a Classic Wrath of the Lich King than just classic itself. You'd still get the old world but also get to experience Wrath all over again. Battle for Undercity anyone?

I'd rather get BC honestly.
As it stands we realistically can play all of TBC still in current day WoW, however with Wrath of the Lich King they took out the Battle for the Undercity. Plus I never got to play TBC when it was current times so I've little love for it. Plus most of its story got retconned.

But its the closest we'll get to Classic gameplay with sooo little of Classic's bullshit.

I just prefer Wrath of the Lich King. That's when the armor started to look good even when you were leveling. Classic and TBC's gear in my eyes looks awful, mostly, there are a few gems here and there.
