Unpopular Opinion: I'd be more on board with playing a Classic Wrath of the Lich King than just classic itself. You'd still get the old world but also get to experience Wrath all over again. Battle for Undercity anyone?

Wrath of the Lich King was my Classic it was my real first experience playing World of Warcraft and understanding what I was doing. As in Classic I only played it for a week and had no idea what I was doing.

I'd rather get BC honestly.

As it stands we realistically can play all of TBC still in current day WoW, however with Wrath of the Lich King they took out the Battle for the Undercity. Plus I never got to play TBC when it was current times so I've little love for it. Plus most of its story got retconned.

The addition of Mount and Pet Journals alone was a huge selling point for Wrath. Not looking forward to carrying a horse around in Classic.
