Somehow I'm seeing people in my twitter feed who're leaving WoW because of the direction of the story. Either because: A. Sylvanas is proven to be bad (SURPRISE!) B. They don't like losing to Rebels. C. They don't like Orc Dads. D. All of the above.

I'm not a huge fan of the similarities with what's happening and what happened under Garrosh. However I have to say I like the way this went more than how it went for Garrosh so there's that. And it's not like the stories are 1 to 1 the same so I guess we'll see we're this goes.
I mean there are similarities and I'm not telling people they can't hate the story but... I just think its ridiculous at how far some people take it if a character who've we have known since Warcraft 3 to be shady turns out to be malicious AF.

I agree there. Sylvanas hasn't exactly been benevolent up to BfA. I feel she's been consistent since Cata. It is however unfortunate this wasn't an opportunity to rise to the role and be better I guess. Or more unfortunate she was put in this position in the first place.

But that's a pointless complaint. This is where the Horde is now. Vol'jin for whatever reason thrust her into this role and we have to see what comes of it. No one ever said the Horde was going to be stable.
