Those imo are poor reasons to leave WoW.
Somehow I'm seeing people in my twitter feed who're leaving WoW because of the direction of the story. Either because: A. Sylvanas is proven to be bad (SURPRISE!) B. They don't like losing to Rebels. C. They don't like Orc Dads. D. All of the above.

I'm sorry but I use to like Sylvanas A LOT enough to defend her Stormheim actions but if you're too devoted to a character to not see she's becoming a baddie you're blinder than Illidan.

I'm not a huge fan of the similarities with what's happening and what happened under Garrosh. However I have to say I like the way this went more than how it went for Garrosh so there's that. And it's not like the stories are 1 to 1 the same so I guess we'll see we're this goes.

I mean there are similarities and I'm not telling people they can't hate the story but... I just think its ridiculous at how far some people take it if a character who've we have known since Warcraft 3 to be shady turns out to be malicious AF.

I mean, I feel like there is SO MUCH story in BfA I have a hard time imagining quiting the game over a story arc when there are so many in play. The story hasn't even been fully told yet! In my mind that makes this exciting and unpredictable, not shallow or boring.

I also feel that, like many people across different franchisees, once a character deviates from someone's image of them people freak out. Honestly I did this a bit with GoT so I'm not innocent, but I think it's important to try and keep an open mind about character growth &story.
