I feel like overhype for any character can kill them. You have so much built up for a character(s) and the writer(s) has to deal with that tremendous weight. I didn't care much for Turalyon or Alleria personally but I think a good comparison for me was how DW was treated.

That's not to say a writer can't work with that overhype just look at Thanos in how he was dealt with in Infinity War and End Game.

That's very interesting that you bring up Deathwing. I talk about that exact same thing in my video about why Deathwing is a B-tier character. I just don't know how you show him off in the correct way for what he is. Same for Turalyon & Alleria. In my (now 5 year old) video.

I feel like they could've done DW the same way they did the LK. One thing I think that would've been far more interesting is him somehow breaking away from the Old Gods and doing his own thing. I never would expect a character to break from the control of the Old Gods.
