The doomplate is more symbolic, but i really like the new one ... It is less "warchief", but i feel good about it. But i would love to see him put his plate again.
Spoilers: The more and more I look at the new look they gave Thrall the more I am divided on it. I love the look I really do but I also wouldn't be against them going back and giving him his old Classic look with today's graphics. I love both but I love his Doomplate more.pic.twitter.com/TmiMKWLDyI

It really would. I'm hoping at some point Thrall puts it back on again but for now, this model does its job.

The only thing i want to see is how they develop him further on. He's going to be a xaman back some day? If not, why not embrace the full plate armour as a warrior? He wants to just want be a frostwolf chief or of needed he will return to warchief?

He will not, of course because apparently the horde needs a warchief of every core race and its Baine time. But you got me (and, dont forget, he said he dont want to be warchief again).

Honestly (as a random person commenting on twitter) I think his new look very much gives off an orc clan warchief vibe, like he's getting back to his roots as an orc first. He lost touch with the elements and was punished - this feels like a reflection of his soul searching.

A lot of people misunderstand what happened to Thrall. He never really was punished by the elements themselves but rather his inner turmoil and doubts are what made it so he can't use the elements.
