The idea that Jaina and Thalyssra can imprison Azshara anywhere is really absurd.
Well, Jaina couldn't do it by herself and we've seen what Jaina is capable of in Battle for Azeroth. While Thallysyra isn't on par with Jaina, to a degree, she's a talented arcanist. I think if it was Jaina or Thally on their own I'd agree but this is a team up.
Azshara outshone them as a Night Elf. Now as a Naga with all these extra powerups added onto her, she gets imprisoned like a bitch and then just becomes another Old God stooge, ruining all her characterization of being the one in charge. I should have expected as much. My fault.
We still don't have the final cinematic but it will probably be N'zoth breaking free or doing something. My hope is this isn't the last we've seen of Azshara personally. They did heavily compare her to Gul'dan at Blizzcon last year.
