Unpopular opinion here, but if Blizzard reinstates Thrall as the warchief, then they will be doing a disservice to the Horde players that care about the story that has been established so far.
I'm kind of curious why you think that. The main reason why I want Thrall back, not sure about everyone, is some stability and someone who knows what they're doing. Sylvanas has shown she can't really lead the Horde right. She can lead it to victory but without its honor.

Ban, have you played through the Shaman order hall story from Legion? He abandoned his family without warning because he saw no stability in himself. Thrall was given the opportunity to be leader back in MoP but saw that he himself was unworthy.

I'm not saying Sylvanas should be leading the Horde by any means. She's a great tactician in battle, but her personal motivates over shadow her leadership abilities outside of her own people (IE the Forsaken). And she got that way because of Orcish elitism.
