First of all, Baine Bloodhoof didn't even know about the plan to invade Teldrassil. They purposely wouldn't let him know about it. Second of all, Saurfang still acted with a lot of mercy in his approach in the quests of War of Thorns.

He still signed up for a war against the night elves, so my point still stands. Yet he was all for it, he even came up with the invasion plans. It was only after Teldrassil that he began to be a mopey, whining bastard. Tyrande should've just killed him on the spot.

And to all teh whining Saurfang does about honour, he sure has little of it Attacking Malfurion from behind and after his life was spared by Anduin, he didn't bother to reciprocate and warn them that it was a trap, meaning he was still on board with killing Alliance leaders.

Saurfang was buying time for his fellow Horde to escape he just wanted his honorable death not to be imprisoned. There's no honor in letting your comrades die.

Imprisoned for like 5 minutes...when our dumbass human leader set him free. But there is honour in not warning the person who showed you mercy to fight another day? The person who only wants peace and reacted to this war because the horde forced his hand by committing genocide.

Azeroth is dying. Anduin knows better than to focus on hatreds as do characters like Magni, Thrall, Jaina, and Baine. Best to pull that bandaid off before its too late.

Even so, it doesn't make sense if the Alliance will go all buddy-buddy with the horde and forget about all those atrocities they committed...again. Night elf players were promised a fist pump moment and I have yet to see it, I only saw more kicks and punches to push us down more
