I think Legion made this problem with many people. At the start on the Broken Shore and her coronation as Warchief we're given this illusion that Sylvanas has changed and improved. Battle for Azeroth broke this illusion and people were shocked by it. (1/2)

There's also the issue of her fans refusing to accept that what Sylvanas is doing is wrong. A lot of the defense is, "But she's ensuring the Horde's survival! Honor be damned!" It's important to remember that she wants to wage war instead of healing Azeroth. (2/2)

I never thought she did. Nothing changed or updated showing that her view of the world had changed. If anything she became even more fanatic after the Lich King's death. In Legion she spends her time trying to enslave Eyir, an objectively evil act against a potential ally.

I skimmed over the detail in Stormheim because that is really when people really should've had red flags (not the Horde's). Admit fully I -USE TO- defend Sylvanas' actions back then because I viewed it as her trying to save her people. (1/2)
