I did wonder about Ashvane's origins if they were correct or not. There's the possibility she isn't what she says she is or she'll just be turned into something more useful.

Supposedly in her boss fight she turns into something else, which I guess we'll find out what when the PTR goes up. I'm honestly not sure what she could be. They establish that she's been around Katherine for a long time so her being some other person might not be realistic imo

There's always the possibility that Ashvane (THE REAL ASHVANE) was a much better and kinder person but then something snagged her and took her place. She always gave me an Ursula vibe and that could land truly with whatever she is.

Instead of being a hidden naga or something the entire time I'd much rather her gigantic azerite necklace transformed her into something.

Given Azshara knows the secrets of the Well of Eternity it's possible she might know how to properly use Azerite and in doing so could make Ashvane into something beyond. I know some people speculate Ashvane is Helya but I think that would be a waste.

I also took issue with Ashvane not even remotely being phased by Rexxar saving her. The man who might've ended her husband or at least led the Horde who killed him.

She always struck me as a Lady Olenna kind of person. She never cared about her husband, and his death let them become the leader of their house (or company, for Ashvane), giving them an intense amount of power.
