Wrath of the lich king's world launch event has never been matched. And i've liked parts of every expansion but so far the allied raced locked behind rep grinds is the worst content update imo
Never was an issue for me. I already had the reputation exalted waaaaaay before they added the Allied Race unlock.
I don't enjoy things you have to do on repeat for months so the new rep grind system isn't to my liking (shared completion on rep quests is nice though I will admit, no more standing in line to get your hit in) I just don't like when games stop being fun because you're repeating
but regardless of that fact, I have enjoyed parts of every expansion. mostly what has killed the game for me is all those i played with for years have never returned and I miss how it was playing with a bunch of my friends regardless of where we lived
