I understand others are tired of the two Factions as groups but I am really taken aback by this idea of "Join the Light!" or "Join the Void!" I don't really want to join either. They both have their drawbacks. I'd rather stay with the Horde & continue its development. (2/3)
What I would like though is focus on the Horde and Alliance mending bridges. Having them fight side by side like they did in Legion or Wrath of the Lich King. Some of my favorite moments were from Draenosh and Bolvar or Sylvanas and Varian. Those scenes I want back. (3/3)
I completely agree however, I feel like they can’t just keep running the circle of fight>cooperate>fight>cooperate>fight... Personally for me, I think it would be really interesting and could really shake things up if they added a third faction OR more neutral races.
//I like the sentiment but I think we are at a point where we cannot honestly go back to them. I have tried thought games but there is no way to really -get- to the mended bridge point. Outside of "Azeroth is free." and developers ignoring it from then on. I hope im wrong though!
A lot of the Alliance Leaders cement there can be no peace when Sylvanas is still Warchief. Muchlike when Garrosh was in charge. I truly believe once Sylvanas is gone there can be ground for negotiations. The twist being leaders of the Alliance (Tyrande) aren't open for it.
We can still have two factions, but the second faction can be The Scourge or something. Im tired of Humans and Orcs being at each others throats, its been... 40 years? Its time to bury the hatchet, and not in each others heads. Create an evil faction for us all to focus on.
There's faults in that idea of a second faction purely being evil. I think fusing the Horde and Alliance into one faction would ruin things both in story and in game. The second faction (the Scourge?) would be destined to fail and fall apart at some point.
I would love a Racial Campaign for all of the races and the next expansion being about fixing what was wrong with your factions in the last expansion.
