Where they hell? they were given homes, they were given food, they were given security, they were given rights. The issue is people look very much to Thrall's, because it was corrupt, but that was not the norm, or allowed. These very much were like real prisons.
I mean, King Anduin, the King of the Alliance currently agreed that the internment camps didn't work. That should honestly be enough.

They didnt work, because they later understood the orcs better, but the idea of the camps was fine, the issue was corruption within them.

Also, not to pour fuel on the fire, but Warlords (especially Durotan’s Lords of War) shows us that orcs are inherently vicious even without the fel blood. So it’s doubtful corruption was the only factor at play here.
