As a Sonic fan the most I was hoping from the movie was a terrible-but-fun movie like the Resident Evil franchise, one that I saw every entry to in theaters because of how stupid and goofy it was, but from what it seems, it's just going to be genuinely awful and that bums me out.

I didn't have any major issues with it. I had some nitpicks like Gul'dan fist-fighting Durotan (Which he'd never do) and the place they chose to end it, but it was fine. I'd say probably a 6/7 out of 10.
I didn't like the romance between Lothar and Garona and yeah where they ended it wasn't the best either. I'd probably give Warcraft 7/8 out of 10 myself. But I saw it on my birthday with WoW friends from 2010 IRL for the first time and I REALLY enjoyed it.

Yeah I'm not sure why they changed Medivh to Lothar in terms of romance, especially when Medivh is such a central character, but I didn't have as much a problem with it as delaying the burning of Stormwind to a sequel we'll never get.

I think it was because they made Medivh Garona's supposed father for traveling to Draenor or whatnot. Again... didn't really like that part of the movie. BUT the stuff with baby Thrall, Durotan and Draka? Loved it. Best part of the movie 10/10.
