Well you gotta let the steak marinate for a while to really apply the seasoning. :) But I don't think he'd just walk out of jail and become warchief. He'll escape or be freed and have a meatier role first.

I personally think Baine should be a Peacekeeper or something before being Warchief. He'd be the bridge to ensure peace between the two factions.

Couldn't the same have been said about Anduin before he was forced into his regency? Actually, Anduin's struggles as king make me agree with you now that I think about it.

Anduin was always destined to be King someday. Just as Baine was always destined to be High Chief someday. The difference is the Warchief is a title earned through both acts of strength, honor and loyalty. While I do think Baine has these traits he also lacks some of it.

I honestly wouldn't doubt Saurfang taking up the mantle. But I would also very much like to see the return of Vol'jin (even though it's abysmally unlikely). It would also be fantastic to have Thrall/Go'el back but I don't think he will be any time soon since he has a family now.

Saurfang isn't bad per say but the problem is his age & health. I get the overwhelming feeling he'll be dying soon given the attention. Vol'jin's story seems to be going elsewhere. As for Thrall & his family, Varian was High King and had a family I don't like this excuse.

I don't either. I'd actually love to have a family orientated character be a leader! I just think it's unlikely sadly. Blizzard is going the Disney route.
