I feel like that was the problem. So many people power leveled, and once they hit max they never set foot on the ground again. There were so many hidden treasures and fun places to see, not to mention the actual story of the zones that people missed.
The best way Blizzard handled flying was in Mists of Pandaria. You didn't have this "Do these achievements to earn flying." all you had to do was get to max level and pay the fee. Once again MoP proving its WoW's better expansions. Just do this method in the future please!pic.twitter.com/LMOSnM4ms5

Mists was best but legion did it best. Having simple achievement to go and see the content and just play the end game casual content isn’t too i to expect. Maybe rep locks weren’t the best but just having a requirement to do the leveling zones & end game campaign seems fair!

I'm definitely on the fence about it. Its not as if I don't like earning the achievement either and doing the things asked (cause I probably would've done them anyways). I think there's just a better way of handling the achievement(s) is all.

100% agree with
@TheLostCodex here hun. Having watched the power leveling for BC, LK, Cata, and MoP for that flying skill.... it honestly felt like a chunk of the game was lost with it being just "pay to win" so to say. Earning it over time makes the community/game stronger imo. -

Ikr? I still explored even when I got flying. If anything I saw MORE because I could get to places I couldn't and see things. Also the scenery is wonderful from up high. Esp if u play a goblin xD better camera angling.
